WHO Online Course – Diagnosis and clinical management of dengue
Diagnosis and clinical management of dengue
INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE
Dengue is a viral infectious disease and represents one of the main reasons for medical consultation in health units in the countries and territories of the Americas. Recognizing and clinically diagnosing the disease early and offering timely and appropriate treatment can mean the difference between life and death for those suffering from the disease. For this reason, it is necessary that the medical personnel in charge of caring for cases with suspected dengue are properly trained and sensitized in the management of these patients.
