- To review local statistics and epidemiology of Cardiovascular Disease in Jamaica
- Discussion on local data on Stroke and its appropriate management
Topic 2: Objectives
- Discuss the current guidelines in DVT assessment and management
- Highlight the role of DOACs and when to use in the Primary Care Setting
- Review Apixaban and its Efficacy and Safety Benefits
- To review the current guidelines in Managing NVAF and the role of DOACs
