Regional Chapters
Our organization sets guidelines for the running of the College in the various territories with the formation of ‘Chapters’ of the College. The relationship between local Medical Associations and CCFP varies from territory to territory, but in all cases, we are regarded as the authoritative accrediting and academic voice of Primary Care Medicine. Caribbean Territories entitled to be represented by CCFP: Anguilla, Antigua-Barbuda-Redonda, Aruba, Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Commonwealth of Dominica, French Guyane, Grenada, Cariacou & Petit Martinique, Guadeloupe, Democratic Republic of Guyana, Republique d’Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Saba, St. Barthelemy, Sint Eustatius, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Martin, Sint Maarten, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad, Tobago, and the Turks & Caicos Islands. The By-Laws and Articles of Association of the College does not permit any one territory to have dominance over another . The College in effect acts as an umbrella group with equal representation from all member states or Chapters, regardless of size or location..
