INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE
Dengue is a viral infectious disease and represents one of the main reasons for medical consultation in health units in the countries and territories of the Americas. Recognizing and clinically diagnosing the disease early and offering timely and appropriate treatment can mean the difference between life and death for those suffering from the disease. For this reason, it is necessary that the medical personnel in charge of caring for cases with suspected dengue are properly trained and sensitized in the management of these patients.

-1 hour lectures on core practical topics in kidney dsiease perhaps every 3 months. Held online (through your usual monthly online lectures)
Content:
Clinicially based, emphasizing practical aspects of kidney care.
As a start we would do the following topic
1. CKD: When should the primary care physician refer to the nephrologist ?
- Would start with a case scenario
- followed by didactic lecture
- Time for questions, feedback for continued topics

The lectures would be performed by persons in the ISN (on the committee, from institutions in the US, Canada and the Caribbean
