 Speakers Bio

Dr. Jonathan Noël – As a Consultant Urological Surgeon, I champion rapid diagnostic and minimal invasive pathways for general urology conditions. My subspecialty focus is the management of prostate (benign and cancerous) conditions, at one of the top 10 centres worldwide for Urology: Guy’s Hospital, London, UK. I am proficient in utilising endoscopic and robotic technology to deliver surgery to my patients. I train senior registrars and early year Consultants, who have been selected for our international radical prostatectomy fellowship. My research portfolio is inclusive of radical prostatectomy outcome optimisation, through the investigation of amniotic membrane implantation, intraoperative perfusion and frozen section assessments. Additionally, I am involved in the investigation of automation in multi-disciplinary (tumour board) meeting decisions and augmented reality telepresence in surgery mentorship. I regularly undertake community engagement, where public members have an opportunity to discuss cancer screening and urology management. As a University of the West Indies graduate, with higher fellowship training from the UK & US; I can deliver urology care to a global population. In 2025, my focus is in helping developing urological services in a safe and efficient standard; with mentorship from senior Urology colleagues in the Caribbean.
