The Caribbean College of Family Physicians (CCFP) welcomes partnerships with organizations dedicated to advancing medical education and healthcare excellence. Our collaborations aim to enhance Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities through accredited events, ensuring medical professionals receive high-quality learning experiences.

Why Partner with CCFP?

Partnering with CCFP means gaining access to an extensive network of healthcare professionals, accreditation from recognized bodies, and expert support in event execution. We facilitate collaboration in various aspects, including:

  • Accreditation Support: CCFP provides accreditation for CME events through the Medical Council of Jamaica National Council on Continuing Medical Education (MCJ-NCCME) and/or the Caribbean College of Family Physicians National Council on Continuing Medical Education (CCFP-NCCME).
  • Hybrid & Virtual Event IT Support: Assistance with technical setup and execution of online and hybrid meetings.
  • CME Certificate Distribution: Issuing and managing certificates for event attendees.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Enhancing event visibility through CCFP’s communication channels.
  • Event Reporting: Providing comprehensive post-event reports, including attendance records and distributed certificates.
  • Zoom Platform Access: Enabling seamless virtual event hosting.

Partnership Responsibilities

CCFP’s Commitments:

  • Facilitate accreditation of CME events.
  • Provide technical and IT support for virtual and hybrid sessions.
  • Collaborate on CME certificate design and distribution.
  • Promote events through CCFP’s established professional networks.
  • Deliver post-event reports with attendance details.

Partner’s Commitments:

  • Submit accreditation applications via prescribed forms.
  • Provide event details, including speaker bios, agendas, and objectives.
  • Ensure necessary financial and logistical support.
  • Consult CCFP’s Secretariat at least 3 months prior to the event.
  • Design event invitations in collaboration with CCFP, displaying CCFP’s logo.
  • Ensure presentations focus on scientific content rather than product promotion.

Payment Terms

  • Fees for CCFP’s services will be agreed upon in writing before activity commencement.
  • An estimate or quotation will be provided within 5 days of submission of request for the services required (service requisition form below).
  • An invoice will be provided within five (5) days of your acceptance of the estimate.
  • Full payment of the invoice is due within thirty (30) business days of the date of the invoice.
  • Payments should be made via bank transfer to CCFP’s designated account, which is on the invoice.
  • Late payments (beyond 30 days) will incur a 0.05% monthly late fee.

Date Change Policy

  • Event date changes require 15 days’ written notice, specifying the new date.
  • Rescheduling does not impact project execution unless mutually agreed upon.
  • Late notice may be treated as a cancellation, subject to applicable terms.

Confidentiality & Legal Compliance

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and adhere to Jamaican laws governing this partnership.
